Walnut Donut

INGREDIENTS
- 150 g of walnut kernels
- 150 g of 00 flour
- 180 g butter
- 150 g of sugar (if you like it very sweet you can increase)
- A teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 3 eggs
- A pinch of sales
- 6 g of yeast
- 40 ml of milk
- Powdered sugar for decoration
PROCEDURE
- Blend the kernels with a spoonful of flour until you obtain a walnut flour.
- Beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the salt, the vanilla and then, little by little, the lightly beaten eggs.
- Mix the yeast and flour.
- Add one spoonful at a time to the dough, alternating flour/yeast and walnut flour.
- Add the milk.
- Butter and flour the pan.
- Pour the mixture and cook in a static oven at 180° for about 40 minutes (do the toothpick test, it may take longer).
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with icing sugar (you can use a stencil or, as I did, a perforated placemat or doily).
- You can also add a glaze on top or fill it.
