INGREDIENTS
- 250 g of flour
- 240 g of sugar
- 3 eggs at room temperature
- 90 ml corn oil
- 125 ml of water
- 2 organic lemons (grated peel)
- 1 sachet of yeast
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 pinch of salt
- powdered sugar
PROCEDURE
- Beat the eggs with the sugar and the flavourings (vanilla and grated lemon) until the mixture is light and frothy.
- Gradually add the oil and water, alternating them.
- Finally, add the sifted flour and yeast, always using the whisk but at low speed.
- Butter and flour the pan.
- Pour the mixture into the mold.
- Bake at 180° for 45/50 minutes (depends on the oven, do the toothpick test, and on the height of your mold).
- Let it cool, turn it out and sprinkle with icing sugar.
