a teaspoon of vanilla extract or a sachet of vanilla
food coloring
powdered sugar
PROCEDURE
In a bowl, mix the sugar with the flour.
Add the butter in cubes, the eggs, the vanilla, the oil and start kneading.
Divide the dough into different bowls depending on the number of colors you want to make (I made 5).
Add the food coloring and mix well by kneading. Wrap each dough in cling film and place in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
You can of course prepare them the day before cooking.
Take the dough and use the pasta machine to roll out a sheet of pasta to then pass through the tagliatelle die. Or use the rolling pin to roll out the dough and the wheel to obtain strips of equal size.
Wrap the strips around the cannoli molds, like these. Place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake in a fan oven at 180 ° for about 7/8 minutes.
Remove from the oven, let cool and delicately remove the shooting stars.
Sprinkle with icing sugar and enjoy.
I recommend wrapping each mold with 2 separate strips, it will be easier to remove them. They are stored in a tin box.
If you use water-soluble powdered food colorings, you can mix them with the flour at the beginning of the preparation.
