Flavours in Paradise 2024: A journey of taste between Recco and Piacenza

Are you ready for an unforgettable culinary experience? This year too, "Sapori in Paradiso" took us on a journey between two Italian gastronomic excellences: the Piacenza DOP cured meats and the Recco Focaccia with PGI Cheese.
A perfect combination
The cured meats come from Val Trebbia, a naturalistic jewel so loved by Hemingway. You can taste the Focaccia di Recco Igp in Golfo Paradiso (Recco, Camogli, Sori). Piacenza and Recco, two very different realities and yet so united by their passion for authentic food, meet in Sapori in Paradiso to celebrate their flagship products.
What did we taste?
- Piacenza DOP cured meats:Coppa, pancetta and salame piacentino, the three DOPs with the highest ranking in Europe since 1996, have delighted us with their intense flavours and fragrant aromatic notes.
- Recco Focaccia with PGI cheese:Soft, fragrant and stringy, the focaccia of Recco conquers the palate with its simplicity and goodness.

"Sapori in Paradiso" is much more than a simple tasting. It is an ambitious project that aims to enhance DOP and IGP products, making us discover their stories, their traditions and the quality that distinguishes them.
